The BEST sandwiches and sausages we've had in a ling time!

Finally got to stop here and eat on my walk through Big Bear Village. Karl and Karel, owners from Germany were great. Bratwurst was wonderful. Good price too.

Went here looking for sandwiches to take with us to the lake. Great people and really, really tasty sandwiches and pastries. Helpful with the best places to park up at the lake for the day. We will definitely go back and recommend.

This place is truly authentic, and that's said as a European not an American. Good selection of German meats and sausages, as well as some classic beers. The couple who run this are just fantastic and so friendly and helpful.

All I can start with is wow! This place is amazing the best bratwursts I have ever had! My favorite was the smoked cheddar ! We were up in Big bear and wanted something to grill we stopped by and were treated with such amazing service and knowledge of what they have! Amazing German beer and deserts. They have fresh bratwurst buns to go with the bratwurst. Fresh sauerkraut! I recommend everyone to stop by and enjoy everything they have to offer.

The food is fantastic and the service is great! My wife ordered a roast beef sandwich and I ordered a Bratwurst combo.

I visited just to buy some Germany beers you won't find in BevMo, beer was a bit pricey but worth it for the taste.

Sandwich's are big enough to just share one. Good food loved the potato salad. German bottled beer in the cooler and friendly staff.

The best deli/sandwich shop on the mountain! Both turkey and ham meal options are incredibly delicious! Highly recommended! Owners are wonderful and helpful. K9 friendly too!

Got the sausage plate (knackwurst and saurkraut) and Bavarian loaf sandwich. Both delicious and more than filling. Both came with potato salad, hard-boiled egg and pickles. Great service... Sorry to see the owners wanting to retire but they're selling the deli so hopefully it'll stay a place to visit in BB.

Finally! A newer German deli in the mountains. They have adequately filled the void left by the closure of the last German deli in Big Bear (Ingrid's, I believe it was called.). They are in a prime location near The Cave, resorts, and "downtown". Family owned, and very personable. The portions are huge! I had to get a doggy bag for my leftovers. Everything was delicious.

The quality of the food is awesome, however they are randomly closed during the open hours. We have come round twice on Sundays when they are supposed to be open only to find them closed. Definitely call ahead if you're coming here.

Fantastic authentic German food and beer. The curry sauce tastes just like it did in Germany. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Thrilled that we stopped in for lunch, 10/10!

SUCH A GEM! This is the cutest restaurant with the most amazing food. The staff is so wonderfully kind. This is a must stop shop for any visitors to Big Bear. I wish we lived in town so i could eat here more often. I can't say enough good things about this establishment and the sweet couple that runs it.

Absolutely great food and customer service. They are so friendly. I had to edit my post because I have been here a few times now when we come on vacation. They actually remember us and the kids get a behind the scenes tour with a free treat. These guys are like family. The products are top notch and they will tell you how to cook all of it. The bologna steaks are sooooo good

My husband and I both took the suggestion of the owner and we were both completely satisfied. They gave us a sample of some of the meats to try before we ordered. The potato salad was amazing and the beers even better!! I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

A wonderful, family owned business that Big Bear Lake is very lucky to have. You can order food and eat it there, or get meats from the deli to take home and enjoy. The desserts are excellent (my favorite is the apple strudel which is to die for). They also have great German beer and fresh bread. They can run out of bread so it's best to get there by 11am to get a loaf. Definitely one of my favorite Big Bear Valley places to eat and shop.

Amazing place! Excellent meats. I would come back just for this. My sandwich was very simple but it didn't need much because the meat and cheese were so tasty! I would like to see a menu of pre-designed sandwiches, at this point you just say what meat and cheese you want, but as I said that's enough! Very very friendly staff. Good price. I took the sandwich on a hike.

There's just nothing like biting into an authentic German sausage! And a sip or two of a good German beer! The owners are friendly and the food is great.

Awesome new deli with so many different cuts of meat to try. You can get bratwursts and sandwiches, which include a side potato salad and pickle. Also be sure to try the delicious bratwurst.And check out the imported foods from Germany! It's fun to try the sweets and chocolates.Super friendly staff and great tasting food. Looking forward to my next visit!

This place is awesome! Really good food and really good service. The cherry strudel and the bratwurst was a great lunch. Good German beer selection. Service was great and a really good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Got here 8 minutes early and waited outside. Owner told us just a second. Understandable as they weren't supposed to be open until 10. Two minutes before "opening" they close the door that had been open since we got there. Still haven't opened and it's 10:10am, so we left.

Real German family business with real good meats! Super nice folks, too. I love getting the grilled brat with their amazing potato salad! Every quaint mountain village needs a great German deli, and this place fits right in!

Yum! Seriously... this place is sweet, German food made by German’s, the food is great and the prices are beyond reasonable— I feel like I was under charged! I love this place :-)

Wow Yum Delish...

Incredible food wonderful owners I can't say enough. But let me tell you this, if you really wanna get some great food here they open at 10:00 a.m. and they Close when they are sold out. That day we got there at 1 and they sold out by 130. They tell me normally they closed by 2 or so. So be sure to get there early.

Took the family to lunch to get a taste of German food for the first time. After getting over some hesitation from the less adventurous foodies in the group eyes were popping at the great, new tastes. From the brats to the split pea soup and then to the strudel...everyone left happy and satisfied. And you must try the great German beer!

The owners are awesome and extremely friendly to all. The food is even better. This is a place you must stop at while in Big Bear.
